How we collect, use, and protect your personal information

1. General Provisions

We respect your privacy. This version of the policy describes data processing in the ROKKFIT app on iOS.

2. Categories of Data Processed

  • Health Data (Apple Health / HealthKit): workout data, activity metrics, and related indicators. Access is granted only with your consent and strictly within the scope you have permitted in iOS.
  • Account Data: email address, name/nickname, photo (if uploaded), profile settings.
  • User-Generated Content: chat messages, workout programs, notes, and other content you create in the app.
  • Payment Metadata: purchase/subscription facts, transaction IDs (without storing card details).
  • Technical Data: device identifiers, OS/app version, IP address, cookies/tokens, session parameters, usage events (without access to personal message content).
  • Support Requests: email and message text.

3. Sources and Permissions

  • iOS (HealthKit): access through system dialogs; manage in Health → Sources → ROKKFIT.
  • Geolocation: iOS system dialogs; can be disabled in location settings.
  • Notifications: iOS system dialogs; can be disabled in notification settings.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

  • Performance of contract/terms and providing App functionality.
  • User consent (including access to HealthKit and activity sensors).
  • Legitimate interests (without prejudice to user rights and freedoms), e.g., ensuring security and preventing abuse.
  • Compliance with legal obligations (accounting and tax requirements for transactions).

5. Purposes of Processing

  • Displaying activity statistics, achievements, and goals based on HealthKit data.
  • Registration, authorization, account support, and security.
  • Communication between trainers and clients.
  • Feedback and user support.
  • Analytics in aggregated and anonymized form to improve App quality.
  • Compliance with law and Apple platform rules.

6. Health Data (HealthKit) Specifics

  • Access only after explicit consent; not used for advertising, not sold.
  • Permissions can be changed/revoked: Health → Sources → ROKKFIT.

We do not use HealthKit data for advertising or share it with third parties. This data is used solely to display your workout history within the app.

7. Third-Party Disclosure

We do not sell personal data. Disclosure is possible only:

  • To Processors/Contractors: hosting, cloud services, anonymized analytics — strictly according to our instructions and with comparable level of protection.
  • By Law: if required by law enforcement authorities with proper grounds.

8. International Data Transfers

For cross-border transfers, we use appropriate legal mechanisms and technical protection measures in accordance with applicable law.

9. Storage and Security

  • Data is stored in protected infrastructures and on user devices.
  • We apply organizational and technical measures: access control, channel encryption, logging, and monitoring.
  • Retention periods are limited by processing purposes and legal/platform requirements.

10. Retention Periods (Guidelines)

  • Account and profile — while account is active or until deletion.
  • Security logs — up to 90 days.
  • Payment documents — as required by law.
  • Backups — until scheduled rotation; recovery does not return deleted data to active systems.

11. User Rights

  • Access to your data and obtaining a copy.
  • Correction of inaccurate or outdated data.
  • Deletion of data and/or account, when applicable.
  • Withdrawal of consent (including HealthKit) and restriction of processing.
  • Objection to processing — in cases provided by law.

12. Cookies, Local Storage, and WebView

In the web part and embedded WebViews, we use cookies/local storage for authorization, settings, and analytics. You can limit cookies in browser/device settings — this may affect functionality.

13. Children

The App is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect children's data. If you become aware that a child has provided us with data, contact us for deletion.

14. Changes to This Policy

The current version is always available at https://rokkfit.com/app-privacy. Significant changes are marked with update date and additionally communicated in the app if necessary.
